Prepositions of Time are small words that tell us when something happens. Just like prepositions of place tell us where, prepositions of time tell us the exact moment, day, period, duration, or deadline of an event. The most important ones are: at, on, in, since, for, and by.
Choosing the correct preposition of time is one of the most tested skills in SSC Board exams — even a small mistake (writing “in Monday” instead of “on Monday”) can cost marks.
